    The Ideal Search Firm

    What are you looking for?

The best opportunity-the best fit for your skills, your expertise, your work style, your personality. At your level of experience, you know the best deals are win-wins. That's really what you want from a search consultant: one that will find the best match for you and your prospective firm.

The best careers are planned and actively guided. So you'd also like a knowledgeable sounding board on your career. Someone to bounce ideas off of, to help keep you current on industry trends, to provide insight on other companies-whether you're actively in the job market or not.

    What does that take?

An intimate, experienced knowledge of the industry, its companies, and its people. Someone who has taken the time to understand you-and has a good read on who you really are. Not just your qualifications, but the intangibles that really define you.

    Welcome. That's who we are.

    What makes us different

    We're from the industry

Before launching our practice in 1997, we had extensive careers in investment management. We have intimate familiarity with the industry. We know many of its key players (it's a small, tight-knit world). And we know all of the organizations and their cultures.

We have a perspective on and passion for the business that non-insiders just don't have. We're ideally equipped to understand who you are, and where you'll best fit.

We focus on what matters most: intangibles

By far, the biggest challenge in placement deals is not finding qualified candidates-it's finding the best matching of intangibles. Our methodology focuses on matching the individual to the right firm.

    We're paid to perform

We get paid only when we make a placement-and only then if the deal lasts beyond the "honeymoon" period of the first half year. That gives us a clear and direct incentive to ensure the best fit. Because this requires a knowledge- and time-intensive process, we actively work on just three to seven engagements at any given time.

Our practice blends the best of retainer- and contingency-based business models. It's extremely results-focused, with an emphasis on delivering significant value to both our candidates and our employer clients.

    Markets we serve

We place senior-level candidates in the following disciplines:

    • Sales & Marketing
    • Portfolio Managers & Analysts
    • Admin/Operations
    • Trading
